StatSheet Projects TCU as CIT Team: 02/05/2012

StatSheet projects TCU will go to the CIT. The Horned Frogs are #111 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 13-9 overall record and a 3-4 record in the Mountain West.

Over the last four games, TCU picked up wins against Wyoming and Air Force but also struggled with losses to AP #17 San Diego State and RPI #39 New Mexico.

TCU is weak against top competition, with a 2-6 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 1-5 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 1-2 record against AP ranked teams. While the Horned Frogs have a single quality win against AP #16 Virginia, they're also weighed down by three bad losses including RPI #109 Tulsa, RPI #214 USC, and RPI #130 Norfolk State.

The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Miami (FL) (13-7, 4-3 ACC, StatRank #50), Ole Miss (14-8, 4-4 SEC, StatRank #51), New Mexico (19-4, 5-2 Mountain West, StatRank #40), and Minnesota (16-7, 4-6 Big Ten, StatRank #52).

The first four teams out are Brigham Young (20-6, 8-3 West Coast, StatRank #44), Colorado (16-7, 8-3 Pac 12, StatRank #64), Notre Dame (15-8, 7-3 Big East, StatRank #61), and Purdue (15-8, 5-5 Big Ten, StatRank #71).

The next four out are Arizona (16-8, 7-4 Pac 12, StatRank #65), LSU (13-9, 3-5 SEC, StatRank #69), Pittsburgh (14-9, 3-7 Big East, StatRank #61), and Texas (14-9, 4-6 Big 12, StatRank #66).
